AMERICAN EXPRESS TRANSPORTATION LLC – RENTAL AGREEMENT
1. ELIGIBILITY: Renter must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and hold a valid credit card. Additional drivers must be listed and approved.
2. RESERVATION & DEPOSIT: A $100 non-refundable deposit secures your reservation and is applied to final rental charges. Full payment due at pickup. Cancellations less than 24h before pickup forfeit deposit.
3. RENTAL PERIOD: Vehicle rented from pickup date/time to return date/time specified. Late returns past 2 hours incur an additional day at standard rate.
4. VEHICLE USE: Vehicle may not be used for illegal purposes, off-road, by unauthorized drivers, or for commercial rideshare. No smoking ($250 fee).
5. DAMAGE WAIVER: Basic liability included. Renter may purchase premium buy-down ($0 deductible) for $20/day. Without premium, renter responsible for all damage regardless of fault. Decline protection means full financial responsibility.
6. FUEL POLICY: Return with same fuel level as start. Prepay available at $4.50/gal. If returned below start level, charged $6/gal + $20 service fee.
7. TOLLS: Vehicle equipped with transponder. Renter billed for tolls + $3.95 admin fee per transaction.
8. CONDITION: Renter acknowledges vehicle condition at pickup. Photos recommended. Excessive cleaning/damage charged to card on file.
9. ROADSIDE: 24/7 assistance included. Mechanical failure not caused by renter: replacement or prorated refund provided.
10. INDEMNIFICATION: Renter agrees to hold American Express Transportation LLC harmless from any claims arising from rental.
11. GOVERNING LAW: This agreement governed by laws of Washington State.
